Dear Mama Ventures is an early stage investment platform, deploying financial, social, and intellectual capital to founders who are solving some of the world’s most challenging problems. Our Big Audacious Goal is to inspire the raise of $1B towards our initiative to invest in Black, brown, female, and veteran-led companies.
At Dear Mama we believe that all dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them. We envision a world in which the DMF becomes the vehicle for inclusion, social, and economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, innovation, and a sustainable, connected future for underestimated founders, overlooked communities, and all dreamers and doers.
Funds raised will accelerate Dear Mama’s mission to invest in untapped founders, make the tools to build generational wealth accessible to everyone, and create an ecosystem that fosters the next generation of innovation.

Our Mission
Our Venture arm is where we deploy investment capital based on our thesis:
Underrepresented (Underestimated) founders represent enormous untapped potential and have the lived perspective needed to solve the world’s biggest challenges. As a planet, we know that we need the technology of tomorrow today and must invest in the mindset, culture, and ecosystems to solve problems in climate and clean energy, food and agriculture, healthcare, education, cities and government, and economic empowerment.
VC’s and Impact funds fail our communities because they provide capital without building out the ecosystem to support entrepreneurs at every stage along their journey. Our team is composed of expert ecosystem builders, equipping our entrepreneurs with the foundational tools to succeed and the structure and support needed to safeguard/ amplify our investments.
We pride ourselves on being one of the first checks in, and reserving capital for follow on investments.
What We Believe
The world has transformed, and an inclusive culture is the foundation for solving our most difficult global challenges. Building pathways for inclusive cultures, educational opportunities, access to capital, and generational wealth are the foundational elements towards a shift in economic/ social constructs, and the birthplace of innovation for our communities.
Our goal is to be a vehicle for discovering individual purpose and collective impact.
Commitment to Impact
Our unique fund structure includes a Donor Advised Fund (DAF), which provides donors and investors an opportunity to make 100% tax-deductible donations and investments in multicultural-focused efforts.
We invest impactfully and work closely with our portfolio companies and partners to ensure the next generation of minority and black founders continue to pay it forward, by developing a social enterprise business model.
Our Manifesto is to hold Corporate America accountable to their brand initiatives around multicultural investments, hiring and commitments to underserved communities. As well as continue to develop globally accessible education programs that inspire innovation, and equip entrepreneurs with the tools, and shared resources for success.
